The S Range Searchlights
The latest exciting addition to the Evica product portfolio is the PinPoint Evica S range, which represents the next evolution in searchlight targeting and surveillance technology.
For over a decade, Evica has been producing modern, high intensity lighting for the theatrical, architectural, retail, and medical industries. The company has earned a reputation for offering the most durable high intensity lighting products on the market, with a lifespan of over 60,000 hours.
The Evica S range of high intensity searchlights utilises the latest advanced phosphor LED technology and proprietary cooling systems, enabling output powers of up to 300 watts. This provides a luminous flux of 30,000 lumens, equivalent to 2,000 watts consumed by traditional halogen light sources for a similar input power. Engineered for maximum durability, with all products hard anodised to the highest standards. Evica also provides advanced ceramic coating solutions, available in any RAL code and gloss level, combining superior aesthetics with long term protection.
Patented hybrid Fresnel lenses use total internal reflection to efficiently transmit light to the intended target and are utilised in all Evica Searchlight systems. The result is a highly efficient, compact design with easy to maintain surfaces.
When combined with the proprietary PinPoint technology control system, the system redefines dynamic stabilised maritime target tracking. Powered by PinPoints computer software, along with our high speed, state of the art GNSS INS compass, PinPoint provides real time stabilisation against pitch, roll, and yaw, automatically stabilising and accurately tracking targets despite vessel movement.
The software solution includes a set of global sea charts that can be used as a base layer on the target map. Software updates with new and improved functionality are regularly made available. Our software is digitally signed and tamper proof.

Fresnal Lens
Innovative hybrid patented Fresnel lenses use total internal reflection toefficiently transmit light to the intended target, this technology is utilised in all Evica Searchlight systems.
Total internal reflection (TIR) fresnel lens is a short focal length optical lens constructed with a centric ring structure to accurately and efficiently reflect the lightsource from the outer internal surfaces of the rings toward the intended target. The folding light path shortens the distance from the light source to the lens providing a very efficient use of the available light and also enabling a more compact design. The TIR Fresnel lens is thinner and has enough space for heat dissipation allowing the use of a higher intensity LED. DiamondTM hard coating protects both the lens from scratches and salt abrasion but also from UV radiation.
PHOSPHOR LED & FORCED COOLING SYSTEM
All Evica’s S series search lights utilise the latest in advanced Phosphor LED technology, providing the ultimate in high intensity lighting.
To maintain the life of the LED Evica has designed a proprietary cooling system which includes high performance force cooled heatsinks with integrated heat pipes and IP67 cooling fan tested to GR487 salt fog. The Searchlights also include a thermal management system, that in the event of the LED’s overheating for any reason will automatically revert to a safe mode, running the search light at lower intensity.
PIN POINT PAN TILT PLATFORM
Evica’s PinPoint Pan Tilt Positioning Technology:
Evica’s PinPoint stabilised direct drive servo positioning system delivers smooth, ultra precise 360 degree control for search and tracking operations, with a maximum rotational speed of 360 degrees per second. Featuring advanced drive electronics and integrated software, PinPoint adjusts itself at a high frequency and with low latency to maintain a repeatable positioning accuracy of 0.0055 degrees.With no fragile belts or gears, it ensures true, robust, zero backlash performance, even in the most demanding conditions. Advanced target tracking capabilities are delivered through the integration of high speed searchlights and a state of the art GNSS INS compass. The system provides real-time stabilization against pitch, roll, and yaw, maintaining accurate target lock even in rough sea conditions. PinPoint fully integrates with NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 networks to receive radar target and AIS data. It can track multiple moving or static targets simultaneously, while advanced trajectory extrapolation algorithms ensure exceptional accuracy when following fast moving AIS targets. Static targets can also be easily defined and adjusted on a digital map, providing complete flexibility for diverse operational scenarios. Operators can control the system with precision using either Evica’s programmable joystick controller or a touch optimised Graphical User Interface (GUI), connected via RS485 serial communication. The joystick is fully programmable to suit individual operator preferences and includes a unique slow motion mode for enhanced positioning accuracy. Alternatively, the GUI is intuitive, responsive, and adaptable to a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions, offering flexible
control solutions. With either of these solutions, the operator can switch from manual to dynamic tracking at the touch of a button. Future proof software underpins the system, with integrated global sea charts as a base layer for the target map. Regular
software updates are digitally signed and tamper proof, ensuring uncompromising security, enhanced functionality and ongoing system reliability.
S300 PINTAL MOUNT
S300 Pintal mount is specifically designed for search and rescue.
Utilising a standard military pintal mount, ensuring stability and ease of movement of the search light at sea or on land. Featuring a high powered battery pack and portable suction base, enables the operator to deploy the search light when necessary in the event of an emergency, also being able to position the light appropriately, enhancing visibility when undertaking close proximity navigation.
